They would go on to capture the MMWA-SICW title so many times that wrestling expert Patrick Brandmeyer stated that to figure out the history of the MMWA-SICW tag titles all you have to do “Just fill in the blanks in between the Lumberjacks reign.”
Lack of title defenses during the MWR years hurt them in their legacy but a great match with the 2009 MWR Tag Team of the Year The Hooligans only added to their legacy.
The Lumberjacks were featured for the MMWA-SICW 50 year anniversary the St Louis Dispatch put the brothers on the front page of a great look at wrestling in St Louis. Members of the Missouri Wrestling Hall of Fame.
