Women’s wrestling in the Midwest is heating up, in fact it is sizzling with the return of the 2008 MWR Female Wrestler of the Year Stacey O’Brien. But a lot has changed since that dominating year for O’Brien.

A young and talented Latino princess has made her way to the Midwest and her name is Lucy Mendez. Mendez has impressed many of the experts with her charisma and the ability to learn quickly.

These two are the future of women wrestling in the Midwest and this very weekend in Eldon Missouri, they are a part of the biggest show in the history of WLW when the one and only Ric Flair makes his way to Eldon.

It will be Lucy Mendez vs Stacey O’Brien in a battle for bragging rights on the night that Flair and Race was in the same building in Eldon Missouri.

There is no doubt that this match will be one of the most important women’s matches in WLW history with the two young women that are hungry and are very aware of the ramifications of so many eyes being on this match through local and national media.
