Breaking news: Kahagas The New NWA National Heavyweight Champion!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 29, 2012

Photobucket

The Tokyo Monster Kahagas  is at it once again, and has his eyes set on the Midwest in less than one week. Though his bags will be heavier than before as just moments ago he was able to defeat Chance Prophet for the NWA National Championship at NWA Ring Warriors HUGE battle of the Belts Supershow tonight in Ft Lauderdale, Florida

The match was the third encounter between the two warriors, and with the action being so intense in the past that Chief Operations Officer Larry Brannon for NWA ring Warriors had no other choice but to put the two men in a Russian chain four corners weapons matchto settle the war.

When the dust settled it was the man who will be here in just over a week in St Louis, Kahagas.

Next Friday Kahagas will invade the Midwest with the National title around his waist and his eyes set on the World Heavyweight title currently held by Scrap Iron Adam Pearce. The night of action that you will not want to miss will be on April 6th, 2011 in Glen Carbon Illinois for NWA Dynamo wrestling as the first NWA WORLD TITLE match will be held in the St Louis area in over fifteen years.

Can Kahagas capture both the NWA National Championship and the NWA World Belt in the same week??

HARRISBURGSouthern Illinois-based All American Pro Wrestling will be hosting a special benefit show to support victims of last month’s deadly tornado in Saline County.

AAPW, the region’s premier professional wrestling organization, has been built upon a foundation of community support. The company began in 2006 with a fundraising show to support the victims of a house fire in Herrin.

“The devastation and destruction caused by the tornadoes is still hard to believe,” said Chris Hagstrom, promoter and executive producer for AAPW. “We know the recovery process will be long and slow, and we want to do even the smallest part to help out.”

AAPW is partnering with Southern Illinois Relief, the non-profit organization spearheading Hands Across Harrisburg, to present a special matinee show at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14. The Hands Across Harrisburg event runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Saline County Fairgrounds in Harrisburg and will feature musicians performing on three stages, games, a silent auction, vendors and more.

Admission to the event is $10 with proceeds supporting the recovery effort.

“We at Southern Illinois Relief are really excited to have All American Pro Wrestling be part of this event,” said Patrick Beasley, president of the organization. “It really means a lot to the people in the communities who have been affected in the last few months. AAPW will be providing entertainment for people of all ages.”

Stars scheduled to appear at the show include AAPW Heavyweight Champion Edmund “Livewire” McGuire, AAPW Tag Team Champions Matt Cage and Christian Rose of Team Overkill, Heath Hatton, Team XXX of Jay Spade and Joey O’Riley, “The Masterpiece” Mike Masters, Elitism of Brandon Espinosa and Ace Hawkins and more.

For those unable to attend the event, donations toward the recovery effort can be mailed to Southern Illinois Relief at PO Box 116, Pittsburg, IL 62974.

The NWA Championship returns in St. Louis on April 6th.- Adam Pearce vs. Kahagas.

Plus Listen to talkNWA: Tokyo Monster Kahagas (#29

Not all Monsters from Japan are 60ft tall, green, covered in scales and breath fire. However unlike Godzilla, Kahagas is real. When the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship was forfeited last summer, Kahagas openly engaged the NWA Board of Directors lobbying for an opportunity to be apart of the one-night tournament. Kahagas was not granted the opportunity. Months would pass and Kahagas was afforded the opportunity to face off against NWA National Champion, Chance Prophet. The Tokyo Monster and the Dark Child would battle for the belt two times with no clear cut winner at the end of the battles. March 29th, as part of the Wrestlemania Weekend, NWA Ring Warriors will provide the 3rd encounter against Chance Prophet. But Kahagas also has a unique opportunity to perhaps become the first NWA Triple Crown Champion because if he is successful in defeating Prophet for the National Title, he faces Pearce for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title on April 6th for Dynamo Pro in Illinois and the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Kevin Douglas on April 14th for NWA Lone Star. We’ll be talking to Kahagas to learn more about the Monster, the opportunities ahead of him, and more
