: The contracts have officially been signed. AAPW Heavyweight Champion Mike Masters will defend the title against Edmund “Livewire” McGuire inside the confines of a steel cage. There’s a rich history between these two men, and their rivalry has heated up this year, as Masters essentially stole McGuire’s championship – and his pride. Masters has made things personal, threatening McGuire’s young son and causing the former champ to superkick Executive Producer Chris Hagstrom. At “Zero Hour” on Oct. 20, there will be nowhere for Masters to hide as McGuire seeks retribution.

A second generation professional wrestler,Santana Garrettgot her start in the St. Louis area before relocating to the state of Florida. Santana has been a featured performer in the Orlando based I Believe In Wrestling promotion, and is also a regular on the SHINE iPPV events in Ybor City. Next week, Santana heads to Berwyn for the first time to participate in the SHIMMER 49-52 tapings.

SHIMMER – WOMEN ATHLETES returns to the Berwyn Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL onSaturday & Sunday, October 27th & 28th, 2012. Bell time on Saturday, October 27th is 2pm. Volumes 49 & 50 of the SHIMMER series will be filmed on Saturday. Bell time on Sunday, October 28th is 1pm. Volumes 51 & 52 of the SHIMMER series will be filmed on Sunday.

General admission tickets are still available, at a cost of $30 per full day of taping (two full length DVDs per day, so essentially $15 per DVD worth of live matches). Bull Bronson is one of the biggest baddest men in the Midwest today. Throughout the Midwest he has overpowered his opponents for many wins in every promotion he has been a part of. In 2012, Bronson would defeat Jon Michael to become the NWA Mid-South Champion.

At All American Pro Wrestling, Bull Bronson would explode at the supershow “Main Event” defeating 4 other men and competing in a tag team match later that night. As the year continued he has continued to be undefeated as he picked up wins against the talented fan favorites Justice, Farmer Billy Hillis, AT Brooks to name just a few.

With the year coming to a close Bull Bronson looks to send a message to the world that there is no one that can stand in his way this coming weekend at the AAPW Supershow Zero Hour when he goes one on one against the Mississippi Madman.

Later this fall Bronson will defend his NWA Mid-South Championship against former ECW, WWE and TNA star RHINO.

World League Wrestling is pleased to announce our forthcoming line up to end our 13th year of operations. This fall, we have 4 more exciting shows scheduled to take place, with a pending 5th show being set in stone.

World League Wrestling started in 1999 by professional wrestling legend and Hall-of-Famer Harley Race. Known as the “Greatest Wrestler on God’s Green Earth”, Race started WLW as a way to still be in professional wrestling and give back to the up and coming generation that wanted to become students of the game. Since then, “The King” has run several hundred events under the WLW banner, and continues to do so.

Even with the state of the economy, World League Wrestling still thrives and continues to work with the community throughout Missouri. For the fall season of 2012, we have events scheduled on 4 (four) dates.

-November 3rd WLW debuts in Albany, Missouri at the Albany High School gymnasium.

Matches include Ryan Drago and Elvis Aliaga (‘Stache & Burn) vs. Britton Tucker and Kris Wallace to determine the #1 contenders to the WLW Tag Team Titles. Ladies Champion Stacey O’Brien hosts the “Stacey O’ Show. The scheduled main event has High Level Enterprise (WLW Tag Team Champions) Jon Webb and Jack Gamble face The Black Hand Warriors (Michael Magnuson and WLW Heavyweight Champion Jason Jones). This match is not scheduled for the WLW Tag Team Titles. Proceeds go to help the Albany High School Wrestling team.

-November 10th WLW returns to Springfield, Missouri

Matches scheduled to take place are WLW Tag Team Champions High Level Enterprise (Jon Webb and Jack Gamble) defend their championships against the winners of the #1 contenders match (‘Stache & Burn or Britton Tucker and Kris Wallace). Stacey O’Brien hosts a special edition of the “Stacey O’ Show” with guest “Cowboy” Bob Orton. The main event slated to take place is WLW Heavyweight Champion Jason Jones defending his championship against Springfield native “OTT” Britton Tucker. Proceeds help the Ted DiBiase foundation.

-December 1st WLW comes back home to Eldon, Missouri at the Eldon Community Center. One match has been announced thus far putting “Crazy” Ace Steel against WWE Superstar William Regal. In 2011, these two had their first encounter with Regal getting the win. This year, Steele and Regal go head to head again. More matches to be announced very soon. Proceeds go towards the Eldon Food Pantry.

-December 8th WLW returns to Richmond, MO at the Richmond Community Center. Details will soon be released. Proceeds help out the children of Richmond.

-TENTATIVE- December 7th WLW returns to Sedalia after a 3 year absence. This event is not set-in-stone but details on this event WILL be released in the forthcoming weeks.
