Travis Cook and Dave Vaughn create havoc at SICW.

In an impressive bit of information David Vaughn is one of only of two men (Gary Jackson being the other) to have held all the titles at MMWA – and he is only twenty five years old. He has finally taken the time to move to areas other than South Broadway and the wrestling world is finding out why they call him the Wrestling Machine.

Ref Jim Harris asked Chris Hargas if he would like to submit.

Led by the “Manager of Champions” Travis Cook, Vaughn represented Cook in his biggest match to date as he met promoter Herb Simmons’ pick Chaz Wesson in a Cook’s Hair vs. Simmon’s Hair at “Wrestling Under the Stars ” at the  August 10 at the Gateway Grizzlies ballpark.

Outside the area Vaughn has made waves at 3XWrestling, Dynamo Pro Wrestling. FIST and Strictly Nsane Pro Wrestling while debuting in Puerto Rico over the summer. A master of the spear he has won many matches to date and the best is yet to come for the man now known as “Mr Unpredictable”

Info straight from Stl250

St. Louis Birthday of the Day, August 22:
“Wrestling at the Chase” promoter Sam Muchnick

Born August 22, 1905
Died December 30, 1998

Sam Muchnick was born to a Ukranian Jewish family, and at age six came with them to the United States. He grew up in St. Louis, working various jobs before landing a position covering St. Louis Cardinals baseball games with the sports staff of the St. Louis Times newspaper. He took a job with his friend Tom Packs helping to promote professional wrestling events, eventually striking out on his own as a professional wrestling promoter. In 1948, Muchnick helped found the National Wrestling Alliance, becoming its president two years later. In the late 1950s, Sam Muchnick formed the St. Louis Wrestling Club while producing a new television program titled Wrestling at the Chase on KPLR-TV, which ran from May 23, 1959 to September 10, 1983. There were approximately 1,100 episodes made during that time span. The show would become one of the most popular local productions in St. Louis television history as it turned pro wrestling into a nationally popular entertainment while bringing the many stars of the NWA into the homes of its fans. The St. Louis circuit would groom stars like Johnny Valentine, Gene Kiniski, Harley Race, and Ric Flair.

SummerSlam was a good deal for Daniel Bryan until it became a “SummerScam!”  We discuss the Money in the Bank contract, how it devalues champions and championships, and what can be done to remedy the situation. Pop over to this website loanago.co.uk and learn more.

Darren Young comes out as gay.  Darren Young won a match on Monday.  Coincidence?  We think not.  Do the Prime Time Players have the confidence now to succeed and become WWE Tag Team Champs?

JJ Garrett has been training with the 3XW Academy  for a very short time and could be the youngest MWR Top Prospect at only 18 years. Throughout his very short time in the ring, he has shown charisma and received love from all the young girls at ringside.

Life in ring has been a rollercoaster for the young star. He has been in ring wars with former 3XW Champion Devin Carter, lost to the man that went on to defeat Jeremy Wyatt for the 3XWrestling Championship Ryan Slade and captured a huge victory over Shane Hollister during the summer.

Back in 2012 Garrett learned some key advice from the 2012 MWR Tag Team of the Year the American Bulldogs in a win against the King Brothers to start the year. Later he started to team with fellow young wrestler JD Riggs as the two hope to make an impact in the tag team title scene.

Garrett has debuted at Iowa promotions MAGNUM Pro Wrestling and APW, while already venturing to Illinois to wrestle for Pro Wrestling Collision and All American Wrestling.

The 410-pound Bull Bronson is eager to join the list of contenders for the Classic Wrestling Championship. It includes two former titleholders – Ricky Cruz and Ron Powers – plus Flash Flanagan, Chas Wesson, Heath Hatton, The Big Texan, Gary Jackson, Jake Dirden and several others. Young Adam Raw is climbing up in the ratings along with a few other ambitious youngsters.

And where would Mr. Unpredictable Dave Vaughn be if it weren’t for the fact Vaughn in managed by the controversial Travis Cook, who also handles the affairs of Kasa? One rumor floating around is that Travis would like to make contact with Bronson.

The complete Sept. 21 lineup for East Carondelet will be announced in the next couple weeks.
