RingSyders w/ Travis Cook, Bloodthirsty Amanda and Dingo today at 5pm-7pm…. This is going to be good!

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 15, 2012

From our friends at Ringsyders

You need to listen to RingSyders tonight from 5-7pm on PartyAnimalRadio.com. Ben Simon and Drew Abbenhaus host this indy-riffic edition.

Photobucket

Travis Cook, the most most-hated manager in the midwest, will co-host in-studio with us and explain his philosophy of “good guys” and “bad guys,” his return to SICW to train Dave Vaughn and, of course, his political views (don’t worry, we’ll stay light on politics). Plus, what role did he really play in getting Donovan Ruddick signed to WWE?

Photobucket

The Bloodthirsty Vixen Amanda is a transgendered wrestler. You may have seen her in Illinois back in October. She will join us in-studio for a Q&A on what’s it like to be the most hardcore tranny on the indies. Oh, and one more thing: she’s coming back to St. Louis to unleash hell in the ring!

Photobucket

Dingo, the veteran wrestler, will join us on the phone after his super-intense 2-out-of-3 falls match against ACH on Friday at SLA. He’s also just about the most prolific trainer around.

Plus, we discuss the Money in the Bank PPV, boxing’s Khan vs. Danny Garcia for the jr. welter world title, and Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy.

Can’t listen live 5-7 on Sundays? We are now uploading recorded episodes onto the right sidebar at PartyAnimalRadio.com.

SICW promoter Herb Simmons responds to “All That” Matt Murphy.

Posted by flairwhoooooo on July 13, 2012

Matt Murphy took exception to working with SICW and was not too kindly of either SICW promoter Herb Simmons, Larry Matysik and well just about anyone in the building after his loss to Alexander Rudolph. For complete details click here.

Photobucket

Herb Simmons has worked very close with Wrestling at the Chase announcer Larry Matysik to make SICW one of the top promotions in the country. Here they are with WWE HOF Jerry Brisco- Photo Credit Brian Kelley

Brian, I would like to set the record straight regarding the complaints Matt Murphy is crying about and his selective memory. It is in poor taste for him to even suggest that a person of Larry Matysik’s caliber would set him up to be ambushed by Alexander Rudolph. As you and all the great fans from MWR have come to learn, at the SICW we seem to have the best wanting to come and step in the ring with some of the toughest workers in the business.

Photobucket

Matt Murphy found out that life is not easy at SICW- Photo Credit Brian Kelley

Matt Murphy was no different.

He has followed you’re website and has read about the talent we have and I guess he was under the impression that it would be a cake walk, and that we would let him come in from nowhere and run rough shot over the guys in our locker room.

He must have also forgot that it was I that contacted him because he is one of the best in the business, and he has earned all the respect that he receives in his travel around the country- side. But one thing I hope he remembers from his first visit with the SICW, each worker earns the right to be called one of the best. Just as I done at the match in June when I informed the former CWC Champion Ron Powers when he wanted a rematch against current champion Ricky Cruz, he must climb the ladder, and Matt Murphy will need to try and do the same. In the SICW, it’s not who you know, or who you can buy off, it’s what you can do and how you can prove yourself in the ring.

See Mr. Murphy, Larry Matysik, don’t need to prove anything to the great fans of the SICW, or to the fans that read the MWR website. They know Larry is one of the most honest men around and his reputation speaks for itself. For years he has been a household name calling the play by play 52 weeks out of the year on the best watched Wrestling show that was ever produced, no glitz, no fireworks, no forty-five minutes of interviews and just fifteen minutes of wrestling like you get now days’ on television. Back then, just as we require in the SICW, the workers do their talking in the ring.

As for myself, I have been promoting shows longer than most others that are trying to do so now. I know talent when I see it. I don’t get upset by a worker crying or complaining about this or that, but just so we are on the same page, you are correct when you say I booked you for several future shows. I suggested you stop making excuses and show our great fans of SICW just what you can do, unless, you feel the talent is too tough for you.

-Promoter Herb Simmons

Next show 7/21/2012 MMWA- SICW East Carondelet Illinois 823 State St East Carondelet. Il 62240 –$9 Doors at 7 PM; Bell Time at 8 PM.
