Santana Garrett seems like a woman on the verge of big things. Not only does she compete on worldwide iPPV every month for SHINE Wrestling, she’s also a big part of the WOW revival going on in Las Vegas, and last weekend was one of the competitors on TNA‘s taped Knockouts PPV – so on the eve of SHINE 8 on iPPV, we check in with the woman who wears the headband of power and talk about all of the above, her real-life job and find out just what she experienced for the *very first time* in Las Vegas.
Not only that, she was one of the undercard highlights last October, and we’re able to announce that Santana will be a part of the upcoming SHIMMER Tapings in Berwyn, IL in three weeks time (Vols 54-57 will be taped across the weekend of April 13-14). You can still grab your tickets for Berwyn (or Vol 53 on iPPV at WrestleCon) online now.

Georges St-Pierre proves he is the greatest MMA welterweight in history! HBO drives a wedge into the boxing world, maybe splitting it forever! Just 18 days remain until WrestleMania XXIX and the card is mostly set; will Triple H have to retire? Also, Vince McMahon challenges Dana White to a fight? Yeah right!
Jeremy Wyatt has been one of the top wrestlers in the world for some time now. Wyatt is in his second Metro Pro Wrestling title reign after defeating his arch rival.“The Worlds Fittest Wrestler”Mark Sterling on December 8th in a best of 2 out of 3 matches.
Since that time he has embarked on the Jeremy Wyatt vs. the World tour in 2013.
First up was the exciting and ultra-talented TJ Perkins who has impressed fans around the world at New Japan, TNA and Ring of Honor. In a classic match between two ring technicians, Wyatt was able to capture a hard fought win against one of pro wrestling’s brightest stars.
Wyatt would then meet one of the few men that is able to match head games with “The Belt Collector”; and that would be the former 5-time NWA Worlds Champion and the 2012 MWR Wrestler of the Yea, Adam Pearce.
In a rematch of their classic 2012 battle for the NWA World Title, just a little over a year from the day, the Metro faithful would break an attendance records as the two warriors battled it out for the MPW title. In one of his biggest wins in his career, Wyatt was able to defeat the greatest NWA World Champion of this generation.
No rest for the wicked, Wyatt is once again hunted by one of another wrestling’s top young star in the world; none other than Ring of Honor Superstar Kyle O’Reilly.
O’Reilly is a protégé of the former Ring of Honor Champion of the World Davey Richards. Hard hitting, very methodical, O’Reilly is able to use his unbelievable training regimen, to dominate with the ground game after destroying his opponents with his vicious strikes.
The Metro Pro Wrestling title could very well be in the hands of the man that Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked at #102 in 2012 when the lights go out on April 13th.
Can O’Reilly become only the 8TH man to hold onto the Metro Pro Wrestling? Or will Wyatt add another victim to resume during the Wyatt vs. The World tour in 2013.
Join MWR when history is made as Jeremy Wyatt meets Kyle O’Reilly for the very first time in Kansas City, Kansas at the Turner Rec Center on April 13th !!
Let us take a look at a classic matchup from Ring of Honor as Davey Richards meets his mentor in a match that is sure to be a taste of what is to come in less than a month!!

Wrestling fans we have received word that the tickets for the Legends of St Louis Wrestling are going fast. We HIGHLY encourage you to call 1-800-711-4263 right away to make sure that you are able to attend one of the must attend shows of 2013.
The night will feature St Louis Wrestling greats, WWE Hall of Fame wrestlers and the many of the best young talent in the country. This is a two night event…..
On May 10 and May 11, the Argosy Casino in Alton, Illinois (a suburb north of St. Louis along the Mississippi River) is presenting the Legends of St. Louis Wrestling. On hand will be Harley Race, Baron Von Raschke, Cowboy Bob Orton, Gerry Brisco, Greg Valentine and former Wrestling at the Chase commentator Larry Matysik. On May 10, it will be a meet-and-greet followed by a question and answer period with all of those on hand. Frank Cusumano of KSDK-tv, Channel 5, will be the host.
The next night – May 11 – the legends will be on hand for a Southern Illinois Championship Wrestling card promoted by Herb Simmons. Among the independent stars on hand will be Ron Powers, Ricky Cruz, Bull Schmitt and Flash Flanagan. The intention of the casino is that their relation with Simmons and Matysik will be successful and they will present a show every three or four months perhaps with an appearance of a St. Louis legend.
Be a part of history and pay respects to the stars of the past and support the heroes of today!!
