Today, Ricky Cruz sets the record straight.  Is he paranoid?  Why did he “change?”  Who is the next big star in the Midwest?  The boys talk to Ricky in person, dedicating the entire time to the interview.

MWR Editors Note: Our thoughts and hearts goes out to Toga Steve Fisher’s family and friends. Toga wrestled at New Midwest Wrestling and we hope that you take a look at this special look at Steve from our friends at the Nose Bleed Seats.

This week on the program we remember a New Midwest original Toga Steve Fisher. In addition to a tribute video to Steve, we will hear from some of his friends & opponents, an interview with Toga himself, a look at Toga’s only championship win, and a post-show ceremony where the roster holds one last toast to the man who tapped kegs & spread legs.

Metro Pro Champion Jeremy Wyatt vs. Ace Steel June 14th Plus Derek Stone vs. Stevie Richards

For the very first time Metro Pro Champion Jeremy Wyatt will meet Ace Steel on June 14th. These two have never faced each other before, and Steel will be making his Metro Pro debut. This should be a killer match.

Match #2 for 6/14/14 – Stevie Richards vs. Derek Stone. Should be a classic for two veterans of the ring.

Match #3: Kobra Kai Dojo will defend their Metro Pro Tag Titles against The Commission.

Match #4: Central States Champ A.C.H. vs. “The Fittest Wrestler in the World” Mark Sterling

Match #5: Iceman will put his International Dancing Championship Trophy on the line against anyone who thinks they can out-dance him — but fans are excluded… except Madea, who is more than welcome to out-dance Iceman

Just about two months away from the June 14 show at Turner Rec Center. Front Row is already sold out, and G.A. are going well. There will be feature matches — including Metro Pro Champ Jeremy Wyatt vs. Ace Steel — as well as Scott Kessler’s Metro Pro documentary “Wrestless.” Get your tickets ASAP!

Let Global Force Wrestling Know Who You Want to See Wrestle For Them

All right, GFW fans. Here’s your chance to get involved. We want your input. We know you’ve already been thinking about the possibilities:

“What if (insert name here) joins the Force?”

The NFL draft starts Thursday, but the Global Force Wrestling fantasy draft starts on Monday. Put on your general manager hat and put together a list of five wrestlers, four male and one female, that you would make your top picks. Post your list on our Facebook page or on Twitter using the hashtag #GFWGM.

The only other instruction besides four men and one woman is to confine your choices to independent wrestlers.

The GFW Fantasy Draft 2014 runs through Sunday, May 11, which coincides with the final day of the NFL Draft.
