First round pairings from the field of 8 are set and being announced ….

“One Man Riot” Frank Wyatt versus “RoboGinger” Gary Jay… Two of the flat out toughest men to ever enter the Proving Ground are set to square off in round 1 of the RBMT when “The One Man Riot” goes to war with “The RoboGinger”…EPIC!!!

Both men are Midwest wrestling icons and both have held the main belt in some great independent promotions. With well earned reputations preceding them both it’s clear we’re in for an absolute battle of attrition fueled by the prospect of championship gold…STRONG STYLE BRUTALITY!!!

March 18th (Saturday) at Mity’s Pub (400 S. Spresser Street, Taylorville, IL) is set to be a spectacular night in the Proving Ground….

Not only will we crown a new Franchise champ from the RBMT field of 8 ( Blake Belakis, Kody Lane, Frank Wyatt, Gary Jay, Stephen Wolf, Devin Cutter, Jon Webb, Bucky Collins), 3 other massively important matches also are taking place….

PGP Tag Team champions Alpha Class (Danny Adams and Paco Gonzalez) defend the titles against Mario Crivello and Johnny Alvez….Cutting Edge champion Johnny Wisdom meets arch rival Jason Roberts with the belt on the line….5 Man Scramble sees Brandon Espinosa vs Barackus vs CJ Shine vs Christian Rose vs Shane Mercer with the winner receiving a shot at the new Franchise champion on a future show…AND, thanks to Major Baisden and the NWL, former Franchise champion JAKE DIRDEN will make a final appearance in the Proving Ground to say his goodbyes and award the Franchise Title belt to the winner of the RBMT..It couldn’t be more obvious, DON’T MISS THE 2017 RBMT!!!

The 3rd Annual Ryan Buckley Memorial Tournament happens March 18th (Saturday) at Mity’s Pub (400 S. Spresser Street, Taylorville, IL) with doors open at 6:30 PM and the RBMT first bell at 7 PM.
