NWL KC Signs National Superstar to Multiyear Contract
Posted by flairwhoooooo on October 12, 2016
NWL KC has signed its first national superstar, Sam Udell, who has built a reputation as one of the top performers in the business as Sammy Six Guns, Jr. The 28-year-old native of Denver will compete in NWL KC under the name Dakota Draper as part of the terms of his multiyear deal.
Draper was an accomplished NCAA wrestler who went on to have an undefeated career in MMA before turning to professional wrestling.
“I’ll say this for NWL KCāthey know talent when they see it,” says Draper, who is scheduled to debut at the promotion’s first show at the Scottish Rite Temple in midtown Kansas City in January 2017. “It took a lot of money for a new promotion to get my attention, and I credit NWL KC for backing up the truck. Honestly, nobody does it better than Dak Draper, the Mile High Magnum. I’m almost envious of the fans who will be basking in my greatness for the first time. Almost.”
League president Major Baisden recognized Draper as an elite talent who raises the profile of the NWL KC roster.
āDraper is a main-event caliber star whose in-ring abilities are overshadowed only by his swagger,ā says Baisden, who congratulated NWL KC’s latest signing during a recent press conference in downtown Kansas City. āDraper is entering the League with a chip on his shoulder to prove heās the best in the world. Kudos to NWL KC for answering the Leagueās charter by signing an acclaimed national star.ā
