The Bumrush Brothers Voted the 2014 MWR Best Tag Team By the Fans
Posted by flairwhoooooo on November 18, 2014
The Bumrush Brothers (“The Don Mega” Shorty Biggs & Outtkast) has earned a ton of wins and respect throughout their time of teaming up including the Dynamo Tag team championship, yet their greatest accomplishment very well could be their relationship with their fans. Separately each man has found success in 2014, but it is when they team up that it is truly special. With nearly ¼ of the votes the Bumrush Brothers can lay claim as the first ever Fans Choice for Best Tag team.
Some fans just like the bad guys, and that is what we saw when the fans came together to vote for Travis Cook’s henchmen the Professionals that consist of Shawn Santel and Mauler McDarby. Santel and McDarby are throwbacks in the way they look to deliver the pain and make some extra cash on the way. Look for the Professionals to try to take the DPW Tag Team belt from Jake Dirden and Jackal in the near future.
In the second runner up position you have the highly energized team of High Level Enterprise of Jack Gamble and Jon Webb. HLE has been in a feud with the Black Hand Warriors all around the Midwest and currently lay claim as the WLW Tag Team Champions.
Devin and Mason Cutter come into third place in the first ever Fans Choice Award. The Hooligans are former 2-time MWR Tag Team of the year, and though they have not been in action in the Midwest as much in 2014, they still have won titles and huge matches in the area. Throughout the year they won the JCW tag belts, thrilled fans from Chicago’s AAW to Mexico and tore up the East taking on all challengers.
First Runner Up: The Professionals (Shawn Santel and Mauler Mcdarby)
Second Runner Up: High Level Enterprise (Jack Gamble and Jon Webb)
Third Runner Up: The Hooligans (Devin and Mason Cutter)
