The fifth period of MWR’s computerized rating system is posted. In September and October, 9 events happened in the State.
For details on how the ratings work, read the Introduction
Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest performance publication. The first 29 wrestlers have competed consistently and have the most solid ratings; they could be considered “unofficial” rankings. After them, wrestlers are listed alphabetically.
This is the last “provisional” period without a Top 10. Here are some facts:
The highest rated is Jake Dirden. The former Dynamo Pro Champion is a terror in the ring. In singles competition this year, “Dirdey” has won all ten of his Missouri matches.
WLW Heavyweight Champion Ace Steel had the best record the past two months: 3-0. This included two victories over “Superstar” Steve Fender to rocket his rating up about 300 points.
No one had the clear worst record this time, but the following went 0-2: Brandon Aarons, Kevin Lee Davidson, Barackus, Brandon Gallagher, and Evan Gelistico.
Elvis Aliaga had the most matches at 4. Aliaga is active in Dynamo Pro and WLW, and he holds a title in Central-States Championship Wrestling.
As the Glicko rating system continues to calculate the coming periods, we’ll see each active wrestler’s rating become accurate and stable. On the next publication, an official “Top 10″ will be rendered.
That release comes in early January.
