The Official Missouri Rankings: In Development

You love it or you hate it. It’s still going.
The second period of MWR’s computerized rating system is in the book. In March and April, nine events happened in the State.
Head over to the MO Rankings page for the latest performance publication. Notice how the wrestlers are organized? It’s alphabetically, not by rating. This emphasizes that no one has participated in enough singles matches to warrant a stable rating. What you see is simply where everyone stands. However, here are some facts:
The highest rated is Jake Dirden. The Dynamo Pro Champion is Missouri’s longest-reigning promotional champ.
The lowest rated is… well, let’s not bring that up. He’s having a tough 2014.
Mark Sterling, at five, had the most matches this period. “The Fittest Wrestler on Earth” has the endurance and will to compete regularly.
Mike Sydal, at 3-0, had the best record these last two months. Two of those victories were in the same night as part of Modern Championship Wrestling’s Missouri title tournament.
For details on how the ratings work, read the Introduction
As the Glicko rating system continues to calculate the coming periods, we’ll see each active wrestler’s rating become accurate and stable. Eventually, an official “Top 10” can be rendered.
I anticipate the next ratings (maybe official rankings as well) release in early July.
