On 10/26/13 NWA-CCW returns to Cahokia, Illinois.

NWA Central-States Heavyweight Champion Evan “Money” Morris will be making a huge announcement concerning the Central-States Title!

One of the matches that will take place on the 26th will be for the NWA Illinois State Heavyweight Championship. As defending champion Shane Fury will put the the title on the line against Bolt Brady!

Shane Fury has been on a major role since defeating Somers back in June for the championship. He’s defended the title in Texas and has defeated Shane Somers back to back, a feat no one has ever accomplished.

Bolt Brady is considered by many to be on of the greatest in ring talents in the business today. This should be a great encounter.

Also the NWA Affliction Championship to be decided in a “No-Holds Barred” contest between Deven Spade and Jimmy D!

Jonathan “The Boss” Hamprton returns to face down Raptor Lycan!

As a special treat to our younger fans: Children 12 and under wearing their Halloween costumes get $2.00 of the price of their ticket! They will also be entered in a raffle to win the chance to have their photo taken in the ring with their favorite wrestler and Championship Belt!

once again dont be fooled, this is a group trying to feed their dream by using a name of the best orginzation ever. It amazes me that one of the wrestlers listed is the same one that has told several people he wouldnt work for them due to not being paid from them. Now he is billed as a headliner. He told us they only drew 35 people last time. ask yourself why are they coming to this area, now they have a raffle so you can get your picture with a worker, we along with Dynmo pro and SBAC allow our great fans to take pictures. Just another way to take your hard earned money. Check out the prices, we have brought in Legends and never charged prices like those unless you have a table seat at one of our fundraiser events. Think before you act on this.

  2. Herb, you have to be kidding me…seriously. Your focus on these guys borders on senile obsession. I’ve been to both your events and the both have their pros and cons. The one thing I haven’t seen from them is them carrying out what seems to be a private war of yours on other independent wrestling companies. Companies like NWA have phases under different management over different periods of time. Maybe this isn’t what YOU remember the NWA as, but we’re not talking about YOUR version of NWA any more than my son talks about ā€œhis Dad’sā€ Internet, Microsoft or Ford! Actually they drew more than 35 people last time, right in your backyard. I’m not sure if your sales suffered any. If they didn’t, what the heck are you worried about? I don’t have to ā€œpickā€ between the two company’s shows. I can got to BOTH!
As far as prices go, they are not extravagant and if people don’t want to pay them, they just don’t go! Then they can come to your show and give you their money! So, I guess NWA-CCW is doing YOU a favor by charging more. Competition is good for free enterprises in America. At least, that’s what’s taught in business. But hey, maybe you’re much smarter than all of us. ā€œThink before you act on thisā€?
I will. I’ll think long and hard about attending any of your shows in the future.

    Mr. Simmons,

As a wrestling fan in the St. Louis area for many years now, I am very confused. I make it a point to support all the promotions that I can in the metro area. I have seen both your product and the product that is offered by the new NWA promotion in the area. I would urge you to do the same, as I think you might be pleasantly surprised. I have seen all of the shows that the new NWA group have done. I will admit they have had a couple of shows that weren’t spectacular, but over all, I’m still very impressed with them. At the show they did in Cahokia, I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting briefly with one of the owners of the promotion. I saw him as very polite and professional. He told me that some of his family had migrated to the St. Louis area about 50 years ago and were huge fans of Wrestling at the Chase. He told me it was their goal to do shows that would honor and show respect to the legendary wrestling that the St. Louis area was always known for. They showcase wonderful local talent, such as Ax Allwardt, as well as some of the best NWA talent I’ve ever seen, like Byron Wilcott and Andy Dalton. He was very gracious and respectful toward anyone trying to bring quality wrestling to the area. We also talked about the differences in today’s NWA vs the NWA from years passed. He stated very clearly that the NWA isn’t the same as it was, but he and his parters are forging ahead with new ideas. To me, Mr. Simmons, that kind of vision is what made the NWA great to begin with. Mr. Muchnick was that type of visionary. A man who had tremendous respect for the fans, and wanted to bring quality wrestling to the area. I can see the ownership of the new NWA promotion here are also visionaries of the industry. In all the posts I’ve seen on the internet, Facebook, and now here, I have never seen or heard of the owners of NWA Central States making any comment about your product, good or bad. However, I continue to witness you rant over their product for no reason that I can see. I would like to ask: Why? What specifically is wrong with the new NWA promotion? I was extremely impressed with Rob Conway when he came to the area, just as I am excited to see the fine local talent that is showcased by all of the promotions in the area. Please, you’ve said some very ugly things that appear to have no merit, what exactly is the specific problem you have with them?
