RON POWERS ADDS ANOTHER VICTIM – ENRAGES COWBOY BOB ORTON

Ron Powers has added another victim to his list of those battered by Powers’ tactics in the ring.

Bull Schmitt has been knocked out of action thanks to what Powers did to Bull during their donnybrook at the Argosy Casino last Saturday. Schmitt is on crutches thanks to a knee injury thanks to a kick by Powers, but he also suffered a separated shoulder when Powers whacked Bull with a ringside table.

This comes on top of Powers smashing special referee Cowboy Bob Orton with a chair!

SICW Promoter Herb Simmons, after Orton demanded that Bob get a chance for revenge on Powers, had hoped to put together a tag team affair for his card this Saturday, May 18, at the East Carondelet Community Center. But Herb also knew that Schmitt was in tremendous pain after his battle with Powers.

Now the results are in. Schmitt is out, perhaps for a long time. And Orton is even more enraged.

Therefore, Simmons has confirmed this showdown for Saturday night in East Carondelet — Ron Powers versus Cowboy Bob Orton.

This is the SICW card to honor the 54th anniversary of “Wrestling at the Chase.” In addition to a blockbuster lineup, making a special appearance will be St. Louis favorite HACKSAW BUTCH REED.

MWR Trading card set Series Two: #6 Darin Corbin

Darin Corbin returns to Missouri Wrestling Revivals trading card series with his very own card.
Corbin went down in the history book as one half of the tag team the Northstar Express that debut in the first ever MWR Trading card series. Since that time he has continued to become one of the most entertaining wrestlers in the world today.

His web shows “W.R.E.S.T.L.I.N.G Reflections” and “Wrestler Observing Movieletter” can be found on every worthy wrestling website today.

The current St Louis Anarchy Champion has been on a goal to clean up St Louis Wrestling’s filth and immoral behavior. With exciting matches since winning the title from Evan Gelistico against Mat Fitchett is now set to meet Arik Cannon in an “Anything goes” match at Circus Maximus 2013 on June 28 at the Knights of Columbus hall in Alton, Illinois.

We are excited to have Darin Corbin featured back in the MWR Trading card at number 6. Be sure to pick up your MWR Trading card of Corbin at a wrestling event by the man himself in 2013.

Sabu Extreme Rules PPV pre party in Downtown St Louis this Sunday

Extreme Weekend continues on Sunday May 19th the day of the pay-per-view event with a pre-party at Joe Bucks downtown, only four blocks from Scottrade Center at 1000 Clark Ave St Louis MO. The pre-party is an all ages event and will feature dinner and appetizers with Sabu. Tickets to this party include autographs and Sabu will sign everything that you could bring to be signed.

Pictures and Polaroids will be available as well for a fee.

This event will have a cover of $10 and includes one beverage from the bar, discounted food prices, and a meet and greet with Sabu.

This event is ALL ages and it family-friendly.

The pre-party starts at 4pm and goes until the pay-per-view starts at 7pm.

Orton seeking justice this Saturday May 18th against Ron Powers in East Carondelet, Illinois

May 10 and 11 was a magical weekend for the fans of St Louis as SICW promoter Herb Simmons and the Argosy Casino joined forces to celebrate the 54th anniversary of Wrestling at the Chase. Legends and Superstars such as Harley Race, Baron Von Raschke, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Cowboy Bob Orton, WWE talent scout Gerry Brisco and former Wrestling at the Chase announcer Larry Matysik all came to thank the fans for their support throughout the years in St Louis.

Yet it only takes one person bad attitude to bring down a party and surprise surprise ,that man would be the  former Classic Wrestling Champion Ron Powers.

At Saturday night exciting matches  at the Argosy Casino, Ron Powers was up against popular star Bull Schmitt with “Cowboy”  Bob Orton as the special referee.

In a fast paced and hectic battle, special referee Orton kept Powers from using a chair on Schmitt , distracting Powers and allowing him to be caught in a back slide for the pin.  Powers then went berserk, rammed Bull into Orton and cracked Orton with a vicious chair shot!

Orton has never been one to step aside , quickly got on the phone to speak to his friend Trevor Murdoch to ask him to take his place on the card so that he could get his hands on Powers.

So MWR fans on Sunday night you are able to see third generation wrestler Randy Orton return home to St Louis to take on the Big Show at WWE Extreme Rules PPV.  You can be one of the fans at the PPV that can say they saw his dad in action the night before.

This hard hitting night will also feature St Louis Legend Butch Reed as well as many of your favorite SICW stars in action in East Carondelet, Illinois.

Plus, manager Travis Cook who handles Classic title claimant Ironman Kasa has announced he will be making a major policy statement next Saturday.
