Editor’s note: The wrestling manager the Magic Man has been a star in Japan in the past and most recently been involved with two of the top promotions in the Midwest NWA Dynamo and the 2011 MWR promotion of the year Metro Pro Wrestling.

This past weekend, the Magic Man made his way to Chicago, Illinois for the IPPV “Enter the Dragon”. The Magic Man was thrilled with seeing some old friends and meeting new ones while having an opportunity to entertain the fans.

It’s no secret that the Magic Man has been a longtime friend of MWR and truly one of the good guy. If I was a promoter he would be one of the first men that I called as I could trust that he would give his best for each and every fan.

Now for words from the Magic Man.

Dragon Gate USA “Enter The Dragon” 3rd Year Anniversary Celebration was held at The Congress Theater in Chicago, IL on Sunday, July 29th. Dragon Gate CIMA requested that “Magic Man” perform magic entertainment in the DG USA ring either before the show or during intermission….

I decided to perform during the intermission. The entire card from top to bottom was an incredible line-up of talent. I was treated like royalty with much respect by the stars and staff of Dragon Gate USA and was also invited to perform in Japan with them sometime in the future if we can arrange a schedule for that.

The fans attending the July 29th Chicago show were very good to me and responded with cheers of joy when I appeared and performed a few classics of magic in the ring for them. I can’t say enough about how great the fans were to me and how good I was treated by the wrestlers and staff of DG USA. This was definitely one of my better road trips in the business and I am so happy that I decided to travel to attend this historic event.

I was there to witness CIMA & AR Fox battle Ricochet & Rich Swann and defeat them to win the first ever Tag-Team Championship titles for DG USA. It was also good to hang out with Akira Tozawa, Rich Swann, AR Fox, Samurey del Sol, Shane Hollister, Arik Cannon, Masada, Christina von Erie, Pinkie Sanchez, Zero Gravity, The Scene, Johnny Gargano, Jon Davis, Chuck Taylor, Super Smash Brothers, Jake Manning, and all the rest of the workers.

It makes me happy to have so many great friends in this business!!!
