Matty Star defends the title against “Simply Ravishing” Ryan Slade in his first ever PWP Heavyweight Championship shot on February 18th!

This is going to be an EPIC battle!

Pro Wrestling Phoenix presents Live Pro Wrestling on February 18, 2012 featuring Former WWE Superstar Gangrel!

*** Former WWE Superstar GANGREL will be in action!

That’s right, former WWE Superstar Gangrel will be in the house at PWP to wrestle in front of our great fans, as well as be available for photos and autographs! Don’t miss your chance to meet the Vampire Warrior!

*** Main Event Of The Evening:

STEEL CAGE MATCH for the Pro Wrestling Phoenix Tag Team Championship:

ā€œCheap & Dirtyā€ Branden Juarez & Preston Maxwell defend Vs.
ā€œThe Heartland Foundationā€ Vic Victory & Darren ā€œThunderā€ Russell

For a year now, the members of Cheap & Dirty have been sneak attacking and blindsiding both Vic Victory & Darren ā€œThunderā€ Russell, who both returned to the PWP ring last year. Now as they have joined forces, the newly dubbed ā€œHeartland Foundationā€ has become DETERMINED to not only get revenge for a years worth of under handed tactics, but bring home the Pro Wrestling Phoenix Tag Team Championship in the process. Branden Juarez has not only competed in both cage matches in PWP history before this, but has come out victorious. Preston Maxwell’s viciousness in the ring is not to be ignored. But there is something to be said of the heart and passion that both Victory & Russell possess. Anything can happen in this one, but there is one thing for sure, and that is that it is going to get VIOLENT.

*** Pro Wrestling Phoenix Heavyweight Championship:

Matty Star defends Vs. ā€œSimply Ravishingā€ Ryan Slade w/ Axel Greece

Matty Star has proven time and time again the he is the heart and soul of Pro Wrestling Phoenix. He has taken on everything thrown at him and come out on top. He is beloved by the PWP faithful and will always do whatever it takes to entertain them. Ryan Slade however has spent the last year and a half as a PWP Tag Team Champion. When that reign came to an end, he set his sights on the Heavyweight Championship. After defeating Abu Colossus and injuring him in January, he has his title shot. These two men have tangled briefly before in PWP, but NEVER in a 1 on 1 setting. Ryan Slade told us that he will do WHATEVER it takes to bring home the strap, but Matty Star will stop at NOTHING to retain the coveted title. Be there to witness this match, take our word for it this will be one of the most epic contests in PWP history!

*** Joey Daniels Vs. Paul Daniels

Last month, Joey Daniels was able to best his brother in a match, but ONLY because he cheated and put his feet on the ropes. Paul demanded another match with his little brother, and it has been officially signed. With Paul now wise to Joey’s tactics, he will surely have his guard up!

*** Sir Bradley Charles Vs. ā€œThe Passionā€ Zac James

Zac James went straight from an over one year long Tag Team Championship reign, straight into the ranks of the newly formed ā€œCheap & Dirtyā€ stable. Now he is trying to work his way up the singles ranks, however he has a huge obstacle in Sir Bradley Charles. After avenging a loss against Ryan Slade in December, SBC was quietly absent in January. SBC still holds the Anytime Anywhere Contract, which can be cashed in anytime, anywhere for a shot at either PWP Championship. Now he returns, and you can bet neither man will back down in this contest!

*** ā€œSensationalā€ Sean Cruz returns to PWP!

In November, Sean Cruz was inadvertently injured by Jimmy Rockwell after taking a particularly vicious double knee strike in the turnbuckle. Cruz ended up suffering a fractured sternum which let to a tiny crack in his collarbone as well. He is all healed up now however, and ready to make an impact in the PWP ring once again!

*** All this and much much more!!
