MARION, Ill. — All American Pro Wrestling and Black Diamond Harley-Davidson have announced a new partnership that will make the Black Diamond Warehouse the permanent home for all future “AAPW Collision” television tapings.
Beginning with the taping scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 28, all televised AAPW events will be filmed at the Marion location. Doors will open at 1 p.m., and bell time is scheduled for 2 p.m. for all subsequent tapings.
“Black Diamond Harley-Davidson has been such a generous supporter of AAPW benefits for several years now,” said AAPW owner and promoter Sean Chambers. “They were recently recognized as one of the top Harley-Davidson dealerships in the nation. For them to help a small Southern Illinois wrestling promotion take this step to the next level really shows how much they are willing to give back to the community. We are so happy that they have decided to partner with us for ‘AAPW Collision.’”
While the use of the Warehouse may be new, the partnership between All American Pro Wrestling and Black Diamond Harley-Davidson is not.
“Black Diamond has been a proud sponsor of AAPW events since 2008,” said Jeremy Pinkston, the company’s marketing director. “The family-friendly atmosphere, along with the charitable arm of the organization, has been a key element for our increased interest and new partnership. We are very excited to offer a regular home for their events and see a huge success in the making.”
The “AAPW Collision” TV tapings will all occur on Sunday afternoons. The dates for the remainder of the 13-episode season are Aug. 28, Sept. 18, Oct. 23, Nov. 13, and Dec. 18.
AAPW has also announced future non-televised live event dates around Southern Illinois.
“On Saturday, Oct. 8, we will host our annual benefit for the American Cancer Society,” Chambers said. “Tentatively, the event will take place at the Herrin Middle School gym. On Saturday, Oct. 29, AAPW heads to Carmi, Ill., at the Carmi-White County High School for a benefit for the Carmi Lions Club.”
“AAPW is also looking to host an event on Saturday Nov. 5, but we are still looking for a venue for this event. Possibilities include West Frankfort, Ill.; Nashville, Ill.; and Mount Vernon, Ill.”
Black Diamond Harley-Davidson is located at 2400 Williamson County Parkway in Marion, Ill. They are not only a new and used dealership but also a parts and service center and official Harley-Davidson apparel provider. For more information, visit blackdiamondhd.com.
