Michael Strider went to war with Derek Stone in June for the Metro Pro Wrestling  TV Championship. The battle waged in the ring and all over the building. At the end of the night the fans were thrilled to see Strider become the MPW TV Champion

In July Metro Pro Wrestling returns for a great night of wrestling as Strider will defend against one of the very best wrestlers in the country, Mark Sterling.

Metro Pro Wrestling returns to Turner Rec Center in Kansas City, KS, on Saturday, July 9, for our next television taping for Metro Sports! Doors open at 6 p.m., and bell time is 7 p.m.

Matches announced so far:
– Metro Pro Television Title Match – Michael Strider (c) vs. “The Fittest Wrestler in the World” Mark Sterling
– NWA Midwest Tag Team Title Match – Heroes for Hire (c) vs. Jeremy Wyatt & Sir Bradley Charles
– Grudge Match – Mad Dog McDowell vs. Bull Schmitt
– Administrative Assistant Position on the Line – #1 Brett Young vs. Domino Rivera (w/ Lucy Mendez)
– What will Commissioner Murphy have to say to the deranged Derek Stone and his actions as of late?
– Also in action: Derek Stone, NWA Kansas Champ Tyler Cook, Pete Madden, Miss Natural, Rebelucha and more!
