3XWrestling Announces Partnership with All Play
Monthly pro wrestling events scheduled to take place at All Play through 2011
DES MOINES, Iowa – 3XWrestling (3XW) is proud to announce a newly-formed partnership with All Play of Des Moines to hold monthly professional wrestling events in All Play’s Forte Ballroom through the end of 2011.
The first event under this new partnership will be Spring Showdown 2, on Friday, April 22. This event features some of the most talented wrestlers in the United States and the stacked card includes three championship matches and 3XW’s first-ever women’s tag team match.

– After SBC’s big win over former champion Gage Octane, 3XW Management has rewarded the young trainee of Lance Storm with his first 3XW Heavyweight title match against the veteran Brian Ash!

3XW Pure Wrestling champion ”The Rockstar” Jimmy Rockwell
– 3XW Commissioner Todd Countryman has promised this match to Octane as a way to get him back on his winning ways. Countryman’s hope is it will inspire Octane by getting the opportunity to reclaim the championship he invented and fulfill Genesis’ promise to take the belt from Jimmy Rockwell.

Doors open for Spring Showdown 2 at 7 p.m. (6:45 p.m. for advance ticket holders) for a 7:30 p.m. start time. All Play is located at 615 3rd St. in beautiful downtown Des Moines.
Fans are encouraged to join their favorite 3XW stars for the event after party at Fanatics Grille in the upper level of All Play. Start time will be immediately following the wrestling event.
Advance tickets for 3XW events are available at http://www.3XWrestling.com, Cup O’ Kryptonite (4521 Fleur Dr. in Des Moines), and Jay’s CD and Hobby (3315 S.E. 14th St.). Advance tickets are $12 adult general admission and $6 for kids 10 and under. Advance ticket holders get into the arena 15 minutes early to pick their seats. Tickets at the door the night of the event are $15 adult general admission but still only $6 for kids (free for kids 3 and under).

– Brian Ash’s first defense of his third reign with the 3XW Heavyweight title is against “The Unbreakable” Zach Thompson, who was actually trained by Ash. Ash and Thompson viciously feuded throughout the second half of 2010, but this is their first encounter with a championship thrown in the mix. This match was part of 3XW’s Divide & Conquer event from Jan 7, 2011 at the Des Moines Social Club in Des Moines, Iowa. Commentary by Midnight Guthrie & Chad Mylan and production by SEP Video. Founded in 2005, 3XWrestling, a Des Moines-based organization, has performed in front of thousands of fans across Iowa and been featured on KCWI TV, Des Moines Radio Group stations, Iowa Public Radio and in publications including the Des Moines Register, Juice, Cityview and Pro Wrestling Illustrated. 3XW events are held each month in Des Moines.
3XWrestling and its performers are also heavily involved with charity work. At the Clobberpalooza Classic IV event in September 2010, 3XW helped raise money for Shoes That Fit by donating a portion of ticket sales to the charity organization. 3XW also regularly gives out complimentary tickets for events to area charities.
In February 2009, one-legged wrestling star Zach Gowen competed in 3XW and helped raise over $10,000 to help the family of a young man whose leg was amputated due to his battle with cancer. All proceeds from that event we’re given to the family to offset medical costs, with every wrestler performing on a volunteer basis.
