PWP Presents: Year of the Phoenix IV – 2/28/09

PWP Fans – we suffered a setback having to postpone Year of the Phoenix IV – but rest assured, as we have proven before, Pro Wrestling Phoenix refuses to be held down!!! As a small gesture for having to postpone last month, we will have a special gift for the first 50 fans in the building on 2/28, a free DVD featuring a few of the greatest matches in PWP history! We WILL present Year of the Phoenix IV on Saturday February 28, 2009 – here is what you will see on that fateful evening:

*** For the PWP Heavyweight Championship – “The Rebel” Jeremy Wyatt will defend against Hype Gotti! This will be Hype Gotti’s final match in professional wrestling, and he wants to go out as the PWP Champion! Win, lose, or draw – this is Hype’s last match ever. If he wins, he will be able to retire on top, the PWP Title will then be vacated, and a tournament to crown a new champion would be held in March. Will Hype retire as the champion? Or will “The Rebel” retain? No question about it, this will be a MUST SEE CLASSIC!!!

*** “Babyface” Tony Cortez takes on Chris Havius! Cortez, now back on his own, is looking to get back to the top of PWP – however, Havius has been on a very impressive roll as of late, and has made his intentions know that he wants a shot at the PWP Heavyweight Championship – no doubt, both these men have something to prove, in what will certainly be an epic encounter!!!

*** In a rematch from their PWP classic last March, “The Anarchist” Arik Cannon will meet Ryan Cruz of the Northstar Express!!!

*** The newly crowned PWP Tag Team Champions, Jaysin Strife & Vic Victory will be in tag team action!!!

*** Mid-west standout Mike Sydal (brother of WWE’s Evan Bourne aka Matt Sydal) will make his PWP debut taking on Mark Sterling!!!

*** In what is sure to be an interesting bout, #1 Brett Young will take on The Yellow Dog!!!

*** Stephen Saint will go head to head with Nate Bash!!!
