Who Will Move on in the NWL STL Tournament This Sunday
Posted by flairwhoooooo on March 22, 2017
NWL STL is coming off their best show of the year and now they are heading to Sunday’s at the Casa Loma Ballroom this very weekend.
Let us take a look at the final four me that will look to make history by winning the gorgeous NWL STL Championship belt on April 9th.
Todd Letterman vs. Mathew Grundy
If one man has the momentum heading into it’s none other than Mat Grundy. Just this past weekend Mat and his Blood Brother Davey Gibson went into a hostile environment in Kansas City at NWL KC for the I-70 series down 4-1 in a match between the fan favorites the Royal Blood. The Blood Brothers got the win with a Brain Eater/Busaiku Knee strike combo. Grundy will have to use all of his speed and agility to over his opponent this Sunday.
Todd Letterman has been a force in whatever sport he has decided to pursue and has been a force to reckon with in the tournament. Big and powerful, Letterman’s athletic background has him with the foundation to be prepared for his opponent on the field so one would have to believe that he will be prepared for whatever Grundy throws at him.
Cornell Douglass vs. Maverick
When I first saw Cornell Douglass, I had flashbacks of the fun loving WWE Hall of Famer the God Father with all his women and fine suits. It quickly became apparent that fun loving is not an attribute that Douglass has in him. His ruthless style and bad attitude has him looking to be the Kingpin of NWL by any means necessary. Maverick will have to watch out for Douglass’s own thug Kastle, who has shown that he can be a game changer.
Maverick is the NWL’s juggernaut and if Douglass lets him getting rolling there is no stopping him. Power and intensity is the calling card of Maverick who has been focused to be on top at the NWL. Maverick has all the talent in the world to capture the NWL STL Championship.
